Sleepy Hollow Ice Cream is a small, family-run shop in Drums, PA. This page explains, in plain words, what information this website collects and what we do with it. The short version: we only collect what we need to answer you and fill your order, and we never sell it.

When you send a trailer inquiry

The trailer form asks for your name, email, and event details (date, town or address, guest count and any notes), plus your phone number if you choose to share it. We use this only to reply to you and plan your event. The form is handled by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, which stores the submission and emails it to us.

When you order online

Payment happens on Square's secure checkout page, not on this website. We never see or store your card number. Square shares your name, contact details and order with us so we can make and hand over your order. What stays in your browser

This site saves two small things on your own device, using your browser's local storage: what's in your cart, and whether you picked light or dark mode. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics.

Like every website host, Netlify keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site running and secure.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the site and take payments (Netlify and Square), and only so they can do that job. We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Links to other sites

Buttons for directions open Google Maps, and social links open those sites. Their own privacy policies apply once you're there.

Children

Kids love our ice cream, but this website is meant for parents and other adults planning orders and events. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us their details, contact us and we'll delete them.

How long we keep it, and your choices

We keep inquiries and order details only as long as we need them to serve you and to keep normal business and tax records. You can ask us at any time what we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it.
